In an effort to confront my skittishness about taking pictures of people, I headed to the annual
Midnight Sun Run - a 10k race held on Summer Solstice weekend. I didn’t know the race started at 10pm, so I showed up bright and early. Then my camera battery died and I didn’t have a spare on me. So I only got 30 pictures or so of the preparations, and missed out on the actual race bit. Next year.
those came out great. and what’s the current fear factor?

Thanks! Looking at these pictures, I can say that I am very confident I can do this again. But then thinking about when I was taking them, I would probably still be scared. Maybe one or two more goes of crowd photography would help. I missed a great opportunity at the Solstice Street Fair because it was almost midnight and I was too tired.
